This course is designed for managers and agents who are, or are about to be, responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff and workforce.
The course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce.
This course is intended for project managers, site managers, agents and site supervisors as well as proprietors of small to medium sized companies. Client-based personnel would also benefit from attending the course.

The course is generally delivered over 2 days in the first week and 3 days in the second week. However, an inhouse course can be delivered over any timescale that suits the client.
Delegates who attend will be required to satisfactorily complete 3 course exercises throughout he course and complete a multiple choice test at the end of the course to confirm their understanding of the subjects covered.
