CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Refresher

Course Aim

This course aims to bring health and safety knowledge up to date for those who hold a current SMSTS certificate, as well as giving a thorough overview of the legislative changes and their impact in the workplace. The course includes a wide range of topics, many building on the previous 5-day course programme as well as introducing new subjects.

Who can attend

Delegates can only attend if they complete the Refresher course prior to the expiry date shown on their current certificate - there is no grace period thereafter.

Each delegate must bring to the course a copy of their current certificate.

Failure to attend the refresher course prior to the expiry of an existing certificate will require the delegate to re-enter the scheme by completing the full 5-day SMSTS course if they wish to remain in the scheme.

If a Delegate cannot provide a copy of their certificate, it may be possible to receive confirmation from ConstructionSkills Helpdesk on 0844 844 1315.
