The purpose of this course is to help those who are about to work, or who have just begun to work in the industry to understand the potential hazards they face on site. Practical summary of health, safety, welfare and environment issues, identifying the Delegate’s responsibility for looking after themselves and others, explains what should be done if the worker thinks that anyone’s health and safety is being put to risk.
This course is aimed at anyone considering, or are already working within the construction and civil engineering industry. In particular, the course is an ideal foundation for those wishing to obtain an industry accreditation card (ie CSCS card).

Delegates who attend will be required to undertake a multiple choice test to confirm their understanding of the subjects covered. On successful completion of the course a 5 year nationally recognised CITB Health & Safety Awareness certificate will be awarded.
