We are looking for an additional full time safety advisor to enhance our health & safety consultancy and fire risk assessment services in Sussex and in geographical areas accessible from the M23 / A23, southern M25 corridor and in South/Mid London.
The successful candidate must possess, as a minimum, the Nebosh Diploma, have experience as an advisor, and have CMIOSH status. Ideally the candidate will have a recognised fire safety qualification. Experience of working with SMEs in manufacturing, warehousing, offices, construction etc is desirable.
The candidate will need to be self motivated, well organised, enthusiastic, flexible, a good communicator, able to work unsupervised and under pressure to meet deadlines, and computer literate. We are looking for a part time office administrator. This busy role calls for previous office experience, along with IT proficiency and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing training courses, including organising bookings, managing diaries, venues, joining instructions, invoicing, printing course material, issuing certificates, alongside other general office and accounts duties.
The appointed person will be confident and enthusiastic, with excellent numeracy and literacy skills. The ability to multi-task, prioritise, apply logic and use initiative is essential.
